Book your complimentary alignment visit to get started. If it’s the right fit for both of us, from there, you will be able to book your full, initial visit, where we will review you goals, concerns and health history in more detail.
Individualized medicine means investigating and reviewing your unique biochemistry and physiology. After you have shared your health concerns and goals, you will be given the opportunity to thoroughly investigate the underlying causes.
Individualized Transformational Plan
With your test results as the pieces of your puzzle, we can now build your individualized transformational health plan targeted to your specific needs.
IV Nutrient Therapy
Intravenous nutrient infusions provide high doses of vital nutrients directly into the bloodstream to be quickly and efficiently accessed and utilized by your body. This incredibly valuable tool is used to help you feel better, faster, while supporting and replenishing nutrient status in the body.
Continual Patient Centered Care
True wellness is a journey, not a destination. We work together over time to reassess your progress, refine your treatment plan and to provide you with continuous patient-centered care
You can make and manage your appointments online through our secure patient portal here. If you prefer to talk to a real person, you can call my clinic, True Roots Healthcare, at 905-852-2929.
I know your time is precious and I ask that you value mine too. Please note I require at least 48 hours notice for changes or cancellations or a missed appointment fee will be billed. Or, you can send me flowers – that usually does the trick!
I treat people, not disease. However, I get that sometimes you just want the details! I have a special interest in treating fatigue, sleep issues, chronic stress, burnout and hormonal imbalances. In a nutshell, my mission is to help women transform from tired and turned off to energized and excited!
Naturopathic doctors can run standard bloodwork like your family doctor, and more specialized testing like food sensitivity panels, comprehensive stool analyses and more. I personally use a lot of laboratory investigations so we can fast-track your ability to feel your best. When we know and understand your unique biochemistry, we can fix it. Bloodwork and other laboratory testing may be covered by extended healthcare benefits.
Only if you want to! Sometimes getting better means making changes to your current lifestyle. However, those changes are individualized to your unique needs, always explained in detail and supported by medical research wherever possible. You should always know why you’ve been prescribed a specific dietary or lifestyle change, supplement, medication or in-office treatment like vitamin B12 injections, acupuncture or IV therapy.
Vitamin B12 injections have a multitude of benefits, beyond correcting a deficiency. I believe the conventional medical system grossly underestimates optimal blood levels of vitamin B12; meaning your levels may be below optimal without you knowing. Fatigue, anxiety and depression can all be symptoms of a vitamin B12 deficiency, and many patients who receive a B12 injection for the first time report improvements in their energy, mood and/or sleep. For more information on the neuropsychiatric benefits of vitamin B12, please refer to this article by Dr. Jonathon Prousky ND.
IV therapy is the infusion of vitamins, minerals and amino acids directly into the bloodstream. Because IV treatments bypass the digestive tract, nutrients are quickly absorbed and readily accessed by your cells. The additional benefit is that we can administer higher doses of these nutrients than what can typically be administered with oral supplementation. This ultimately means your body gets what it needs quickly, and you will start to feel better, faster!
Absolutely not! My family doctor is one of my most valued health allies. I recommend all patients have and maintain a relationship with their own family doctor and/or specialists. I value integrative and collaborative care and do not believe you should have to “choose sides”. However, there’s a reason you’re looking for another opinion, answer or solution. Let’s talk about that.
In my clinical experience, it takes about 9-12 months of working together to establish a strong foundation for your health. Appointments are spaced according to the other treatments you are receiving, the intensity of your concerns and the goals that you have. Generally, we see each other 4 times in the first 3 months and then increase the duration between appointments.
Your treatment plan may also include external referrals to other professionals I work closely with to maximize your health-related outcomes and goals.
I believe your health is your greatest asset and you are worth investing in! My patients often remark they are so glad they made the investment to find the answers and solutions they were looking for.
We can review the variable levels of care and investment available to you to be serve your needs and goals.
Most of the time, I practice at True Roots Healthcare, located at 304 Toronto Street South in Suite 202 in Uxbridge, ON.
We’re located in the Elgin Centre building on the second level above the retail stores. You can access the clinic through the building’s central doors from either the front or the back of the building. There is plenty of parking as well as an elevator to the second floor. (But you’ll take the stairs if you can, right?!)
Yes! We can book your complimentary alignment visit to be over the phone or in-office. From there, we can review if your initial visit will need to be in person or if it can be done virtually.
